Mileage is based on standard US charging rates, exp: .32/mile and travel time beyone 30 minutes is charged at 20.00/hour.
  • Photo Restoration
Basic restoration rates are also by the hour and are also abailable by calling 231-534-6709 All photo restoration includes scanning provided we print the final image. Each restoration project is subject to review, assuring you that we can accomplish the project correctly. This review is based on how old the film or prints are, how bad the surface is, cracked, torn, etc. Scratches in film are hard to see, however if you look at the surface with some sort of magnification, quality becomes apparent. Fading or missing information can be restored depending on the amount of fade or missing material. In short, we can repair or restor a tremendous amount of information in an hour. Something that would take a beginner 1 hour could take me 5 to 15 times minutes making this service a good value.
  • Graphic Design
Graphic design is charged by the hour. Brochures, rack cards, posters etc., will be designed with Adobe software and the appropriate finished data files will be provided on CD/DVD.
  • Print Pricing & Media
Pricing is based on the specific size and includes paper, ink, processing labor and the artist royalities for use of the image.
Photo media is a 7 to 10 mil product available in photo gloss, luster or in flat no glare finish. Printing sizes can not exceed 41" in width with the length open ended within reason. Each media is considered water resistent, however not water proof. Uncoated or unprotected prints will not normally release without rubbing of some sort. If wetted, dabbing with a soft dry cloth drys best.
  • Ink Media
Inks are UV permanent and considered archival in nature. They are HP's best ink and are listed as permanent ink. Indoor use will outlast any dye product on the market. Note, all standard photography is dye based and covered with some sort of UV protection.
  • Mounting priced by the sqft
Mounting can be on standard 3/16 foam core or mighty core or 1/8 or 1/4 hard boards that are very hard to dent and are 5 times the weight of foam core. Images displayed without glass should be mounted on hard boards to prevent light weight bumping damage.
  • UV & Scratch Protective Spray Coatings
These Fine Art UV clear coatings are used to add to the UV resistance and give scratch resistance of the surface. These coatings are all non-yellowing and can be cleaned with a damp rag. Finishes available in High Gloss, Semi Gloss or Fine Art Low Gloss which is almost flat.
  • Hot Melt Laminating priced by the square
A plastic coating can be applied over the image. This lamination varries on thickness, 3 to 8 mills. In short, Gloss, matt or Trade Show Textured surfaces are available. Lamination can be front only or front and back when prints are not mounted and a stiffer print is required. Lamination is subject to dust during laminating and may be apparent after complete. The gloss produces show dust particals 10 times more than the Trade show laminate. The textured surface tends to make the dust that may be trapped, invisible. The Trade show laminate is the least gloss plastic laminate product.
  • Framing
We prefer to display our product less glass. The images view perfectly without glare or reflections from other light sources, from any angle in any room regardless of the lighting conditions. Think about an oil painting under glass, not a chance.
