The canvas floater design is know for displaying oil art on canvas, a method that frames the art without detracting from the image and giving the viewer the alusion that the image is floating or as if you are looking out an open window, knowing that their is no glass between you and the view. The only thing between you and the image is a very thin UV scratch resistent coating called "Fine Art UV Clear. After the first coat is dry, the image is sanded before the second coate is applied. These images can be cleaned with a damp cloth or dusted as necessary.

  • Mounting made simple and secure

Wood blocks are screwed into the canvas floater frames that include a 45 degree taper. This block sits on a match block mounted to the wall. The 45 degree surface tucks the frame back to the wall, holding the frame secure with little movement. Mounting the wall block is simple. For a picture with one mounting block, locate the block, screw in one drywall screw and hang the picture. Level the picture frame, remove the frame and screw in the second screw. Hang the frame. If the frame is not level, shim the wall block surface with a piece of tape, until the frame hangs level. For a two block picture frame, locate the first block, place a level on the top edge of the mounting block and screw both screws into the block. locate the second block, place the level on the top edge of the first block and extend the other end to the proper elevation for the second block. Place the second block under the extended level, screw in the first screw then the second. Test hang the picture and if it is not level, again use tape as a shim until level.
